
Jennifer has always wanted to be an multi-tasking star. Growing up she enjoyed all kinds of genres of music, but she particularly enjoyed Afro-Caribbean music like salsa, merengue and bachata. She also enjoyed popular music such as pop, hip-hop and R&B. Although she loved music, the film industry also intrigued her. West Side Story (1961) was the Rita Moreno musical that influenced her most as well as her main influence. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer is also an entertainer, as well as a Catholic girl, was a student for eight years at Holy Family Catholic Middle School in The Bronx. After completing her four years of school, she graduated from Preston High School, an all-girls prep school. At the school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete, and played track and field and tennis. In Castle Hill, she spent the majority of her time in a two story home. Jennifer moved from her home with her parents at age 18. Lopez was a lawyer during this period, while taking night dancing classes.
