Dakota Blue Richards
Dakota Blue Richards was born in England. She is an English actress. She has played Lyra Belaqua in 'The Golden Compass', and Franky Fitzgerald in the British teenage drama Skins. She has also been extensively engaged on stage and has performed in productions of plays like "Arcadia" and "A Streetcar Named Desire'. Richards is a Londoner by birth, grew up on the Sussex coast. Richards had a few acting classes at school, however, she took the majority of acting lessons on weekends. She also skipped school for auditions. Her debut appearance onscreen as an actor came in 'The Golden Compass. Richards' performance was praised by a large number of people, despite the film receiving mixed reactions. Her debut came in the year following on television in the TV movie "Dustbin Baby".
